I have been hearing increasing input from a bunch of different people saying that Costa Rica is no longer the wonderland that it was 10 years ago or so. They say that many people have moved on, preferring life in Nicaragua or Panama. There are numerous points that they list, indicating some of these other countries have greater opportunities and are structured to make it much easier for an American to relocate and live there.
