Hi there folks! This is going to be cross posted on different tribes so I apologize to those of you that are seeing it multiple times.

I currently live in TX and am a certified art teacher. I unfortunately am only being hired on as a paraprofessional again(read: teacher helper) and feel that I am not going to be growing and helping kids in the manner that I know I can fulfill. It's very frustrating so I am trying to change it. I am looking to teach in Costa Rica but would rather not teach English. This is most of what I'm finding. I love alternative forms of education, progressive schools/communities etc. I would really love any and all ideas that ya'll may have on opportunities. My husband and I also surf so a beach community would be ideal. I know I'm being really specific but I figure if I want to be happy, I shouldn't settle. Any intentional communities that need an art teacher? My focus is in ceramics but I am very flexible in my abilities.
