Re: should i bring a jacket to costa rica?
Fri, February 16, 2007 - 10:03 AMyes, i'd bring a light windbreaker, a couple of long john tops and maybe a medium jacket. It can get downright cold up in the mountains at night, i had a house in San Ramon Tres Rios that would get down to 50 degrees some nights. We ended up having to buy space heaters because it was so freakin cold, eventually we moved, I mean who moves to the tropics to use space heaters... -

Re: should i bring a jacket to costa rica?
Sat, February 17, 2007 - 9:43 AMwhere are you coming to? In Monteverde you certainly need a jacket, lots of good waterproofs which breathe or you'll never wear them, strong umbrella and a couple of nice thick sweatshirts. I was there, now I'm in Guanacaste which is hot year round but when the wind gets up it's nice to have a light sweatshirt. Also in the rainy season stuff gets damp and stays damp for days so it can be nice to have a couple of good quality warmer cotton shirts.
welcome, and enjoy this incredible place,
