  i have a one way ticket for costa on december the 11th. i have no clue where i will go, or what will happen when i get there. should be fun. has anyone here been able to find work down there? is it easy to find room mates in costa?

    depends. go to tranquilo hostel and ask around. that's where a lot of the people i have met hooked up.

      My cousin is currently living there with his girlfriend, who is in graduate school. He has yet to find employment, due to the fact that an American cannot take a job from a citizen of Costa Rica. You're best bet would be starting your own business to create jobs for Costa Ricans. We are hoping to be able to do that someday soon!
