May I suggest Playa Coco in North Western Guanacaste, just 22 Kilometers from Liberia Airport. I have a place, a studio for rent. It is about 500 yards from the beach. The rent is very inexpensive. For more details contact Estela Calderon at 506-816-0565 or dreamscometrue18@yahoo.com or dreamscometruecr.com
This is a small fishing village with 2 banks, 1 gas station 2 super marts, 2 Hardware stores, and many restaurants, yet very peaceful and quiet beaches.

Best of luck.

Regarding Wi-Fi, you'll have to set it up yourself with a Wireless Router. There is no Wi-Fi here, not even in the city (unless you manage to hack into someone's connection).

I found Playa Coco in Northern Guanacaste to be an area that offers some solitude and yet a thriving downtown area. Rentals for long term see Dreams come True in Playa Coco. They have studios to houses for rent.

peace and blessings, family!

i just arrived in costa rica for my first endless summer! i want to rent a little place on the beach, or super close walking distance to the beach, in a walking neighborhood, but that also has semi-secluded stretches of beach. i primarily want to be in an area that's safe and secure, and yeah, easy beach access is essential. oh, so is wifi.

many have said that i'll dig puerto viejo, but from what i've read, montezuma sounds pretty right-on, too. i like to be around kind, loving, hippie vibes, and want to avoid predatorial or agro energy. our there any enclaves of coolness that happen to be on a beach? 'cause that would be sick...

also, what are the best sources to search for rentals (for 3 months or more)?

thanks, you guys! i've only been here a few hours, but i love it here!
