My boyfriend and his best friend left for Costa Rica Saturday, to surf around the Nicoya Penninsula area (I think Playa Negro was a main destination). He promised to call or email myself and his family from there, but we have receieved no word. He is very responsible and would not want his family and friends to worry, so the fact that he has not contacted us is very worrisome. Does anyone live near this area that can tell me if there are phones and internet cafes that he could use? I just want to know if this is just a case of him being in a remote area and therefore unable to contact us, so I know how to procede from there. Thanks in advance for any responses.
